Mphasis, an information and technology solution provider specialising in cloud and cognitive services, has acquired Stelligent Systems LLC for $25m (£19m) in an all-cash deal, according to a filing released on Friday.

As stated in the filing, the acquisition is expected to provide access to a “strategic proposition in Cloud DevOps and DevSecOps with the AWS system”.

It added that the deal will enhance Mphasis’ abilities in public cloud with a focus on “DevOps and containerisation, further augmenting its managed services capabilities”.

Stelligent provides enterprises with integration and delivery solution on AWS.

The company has over 50 employees who hold over 100 certificates and experience in the DevOps automation industry the statement said.

The filing also states that Stelligent works with other Fortune500 companies as well.

“The advent of public cloud infrastructure and SaaS software has elevated the importance of rapid automation in product development and product engineering for enterprises moving to the cloud,” Mphasis CEO and Executive Director, Nitin Rakesh, said.

Commenting on the deal, Bill Santos, CEO of Stelligent said: “Stelligent is very excited to further its DevOps capability across a broader range of clients and become central to Mphasis’ AWS go-to-market strategy.
