AI Enables True Observability for DevOps
A side-effect of the DevOps revolution is a new way of thinking about how systems in development and production should be monitored and managed which focuses on the observability of a rapidly evolving, highly modular infrastructure and application stacks. Indeed, observability is often seen by DevOps proponents as something that mitigates the need for AI. In this presentation, the speaker will argue that, in fact, an effective observability strategy presupposes effective AI capabilities. The role of AI in supporting the automation of the DevOps tool-chain will also be discussed. In the end, the case will be made that DevOps and AI are not in conflict with one another but are complementary aspects of a sound digital strategy.
