The UK cyber security industry has experienced a record year for sales, investment, and job creation in 2021.
Indeed, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS) reported that cyber firms contributed £5.3bn to the UK economy in 2021 and have generated £10.1bn in revenue and attracted over £1bn in external investment across 84 deals.
These security firms are key contributors to the UK’s tech industry to make it safer for people to live and work online, so it is vital to invest in skills training and business initiatives to help the UK become a global cyber power.
